 Cse Data Science (Cse-Ds)

B.Tech CSE (Data Science)/CSD with a 60-member recruitment starting in 2020 provides graduates in engineering in computer science with a major in data science. BS Zaven and Sonia Akian College of Science and Engineering (CSE) in Data Science is an interdisciplinary degree that combines the foundations of statistical modeling, machine learning, and computational science.

About CSE-AI&DS, Brief information about CSE-AI&DS

The program exposes students to fundamental concepts of computer science and engineering as well as specific engineering knowledge in data science. The program's curriculum is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of applied statistics, applied mathematics, and computer science required in the context of data science and its applications, with an emphasis on hands-on courses, seminars, and experience working with real-world problems. The program also provides engineering and problem-solving skills using computational methods.

Strong knowledge in science, mathematics, analytical skills and logical thinking are required to participate in the program. An aspiring computer scientist should complete a bachelor's degree in computer science, including programming, algorithms, mathematics, data structures, operating systems, and software security.

Computer science consists of several technical concepts such as programming languages, algorithm design, software development, human-computer interaction, and computational processes. Computer science is a field of computing that consists of various disciplines such as data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, programming languages, and more. Computer science also includes mathematical concepts such as statistics, algebra, calculus, advanced statistics, and data engineering. And so on, Informatica gives us knowledge about the design and capabilities of processors and memory management in the programming world. Data science refers to a specific field of study in computer studies with an emphasis on programming, analysis, and statistics. Data scientists combine computer science and statistical techniques such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, statistical learning, probabilistic models, and visualization to manage, analyze, and interpret data.

Working on what computer science has built, modern data scientists are developing unique ways to filter the vast amounts of data flowing through networked systems and thus extract useful information. Thus, data science can be defined as a combination of various mathematical tools, algorithms, statistics, and machine learning methods, which are then used to find hidden patterns and understand data that helps in decision making.

Computer Science Technology or Engineering Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics and Mathematics or Degree in any related field Programming skills and skills, algorithms, networks, computer architecture, operating system statistics, mathematics, machine learning, artificial intelligence programs The interaction between hardware and software and algorithm learning is an important part of the program. Hardware learning is not important for data science, but algorithmic learning is included. This fall, SEAS will host a virtual information session for students interested in the MS in Computing and Engineering (as well as in the Data Science and MS/MBA programs). It is simply a data science platform that provides open source software and computing resources that data scientists can use and stay informed of the latest developments in the field.
